Find an equation ax^{2}+bx+c=0 such that the sum of the roots is 10 and the product of the roots is 4.

__Solution__:

To solve the problem we apply the formula for forming quadratic equation given below :

x^{2}-(sum of roots)x+product of roots=0

From the question;

Sum of roots=10

Product of roots=4

Substituting the value in the formula we have the required equation as:

x^{2}-10x+4=0
